3 exciting new changes at Prosser Knowles you need to know about
In recent months, the coronavirus pandemic has made significant changes to many aspects of our daily lives. From wearing face masks on public transport to working from home, things are very different than they were pre-2020.
As times change, it’s important to change with them and that’s why we’re pleased to announce some major changes here at Prosser Knowles. Not only have we got a new fund manager, bringing some more investment expertise, but we’ve also made major changes to our site, portal, and IT system. Our new client portal makes it easier than ever to manage your investments
As you may already know, a client portal is an important interface. While our old systems and processes did their job, we decided that we could do more to improve the client experience as well as modernise and improve efficiencies behind the scenes at the same time. That’s why we’re pleased to announce the arrival of our new client portal.
One of the biggest changes is that you can now view and track your portfolio with real-time valuations. This can help you to visualise your progress towards your financial goals. You can also now analyse your investments in greater depth, enabling you to see how effectively your wealth is growing.
On top of this, there is now a degree of banking integration, making it easier than ever before to top up your investments and also set yourself budgets and monitor your spending, should you wish to.
One of the key benefits of the new client portal is the secure communication feature, which should give you greater peace of mind.
As we’ve talked about in a previous blog, there has been a significant rise in scams and hacking in recent months due to the confusion caused by the pandemic. This is why we decided to implement a secure system to enable you to communicate sensitive information directly to your adviser, without having to worry about it being intercepted.

We’ve updated and modernised our back-office system for improved efficiency
Another recent change was to our back-office system, which underpins a lot of what we do here at Prosser Knowles.
We’ve been using the same system for many years now and, while we’ve often thought about changing it, there was never a convenient time to do so. However, now that we’re making sweeping changes to several of our IT systems (including improvements to our site and client portal), we decided it was finally time to update it.
We’ve been working towards being a paperless office for many years now and so one of the main advantages to the new system is that it is cloud-based. This makes data storage much simpler and easier.
The new system also has greater security and data protection features, meaning that your sensitive data is now safer than ever.
A new Discretionary Fund Manager has joined our team
We’re pleased to announce we have a new Discretionary Fund Manager to bring a greater level of expertise to our portfolio management.
As you may already know, we don’t directly handle your wealth but employ the services of a carefully curated team of leading fund managers. One of the main benefits of doing this is that Prosser Knowles Portfolios can benefit from the services our investing partners provide, such as their sophisticated monitoring systems.
We regularly monitor the performance of our investment funds to ensure that they continue to meet your needs and requirements.
